A solid tempo on the cards with Extra Light leading the way. BOLD CHAR (2) wound up strongly last time out to finish a neck adrift in second over 1500m at this track. Can go on with it. SOVEREIGN RULER (11) has strung together a couple of wins at this course, the latest on July 6 over 1500m when he scored by one length. Key runner. BIJOUX MEFA'A (5) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at Kawasaki but couldn't follow that up last time out when fifth over 1500m at this track. Nicely placed and can bounce right back. SHU CAMPANELLA (9) was fourth over 1400m at Kawasaki at his latest appearance. Better than recent efforts suggest and worth consideration here.
