Loose Love is the probable leader in the small field. LOOSE LOVE (3) holding his form well and due for a change of luck in this easier contest. Comes out of a decent rating race when a tough on pace second to Fay's Angels over 1900m at Canterbury in BM72 grade. Can take control early and prove hard to get past. SONOFDEC (1) thought he might have gone through his grades a bit quicker by now and finds a winnable race today. Closed strongly in the heavy (8) going when an unlucky second over this trip at Newcastle. Near his top and will relish the 3kg claim again. HARD PICK (5) failed to bounce off his good win two back, when having to work hard early before fading to finish sixth over 1600m at this track. Gets a better run today and sure to be thereabouts. LINE OF FIRE (2) deep into the prep now and well placed in this weaker contest. The in-form Jace McMurray rides after chipping away late when fifth over 1550m at Canterbury. Will be running on late. SUGGESTED PLAY: Loose Love and Sonofdec to fight it out.
