Earth Melody to take charge ahead of Hanasaki Poplar at a solid tempo. TANOSHISA (7) returned from a spell last start with a strong win by 2 lengths over 900m at this track. Will be better for that latest run and she looks hard to stop again. EARTH MELODY (2) was in contention on the turn and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 800m at Urawa after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. HANASAKI POPLAR (6) proved too strong two runs ago at this track. Couldn't follow that up last time out when third over 900m at this track, beaten 4 lengths. Yet to miss the frame in three starts over this course and distance. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. BEGINNING DREAM (5) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fifth over 1400m at this track after being prominent at the bend. Has the talent to produce a better result.
