Buzzaroon should be able to comfortably find the front. Tough. ANORTHERNBELLE (9) settled at the back of the field and did a good job when beaten 3.5L at Terang over a mile. She's heading in the right direction and draws and inside alley today. Peaks and should go close. GARNET BAY (10) is in good hands and should be ready to fire. She was well supported at Kyneton but may not have appreciated the tight track. Has the blinkers first-time applied to sharpen her up. THE OCTOPUS (5) resumes over 1726m at Geelong first up and needed the outing. He'd been well prepared, and he's on a quick backup. Better suited and quick improvement is likely. BUZZAROON (1) didn't have the best of it on debut and has jumped out since. Meech goes aboard and fitter can do better. SUGGESTED PLAY: With Anorthernbelle.
