Just a modest pace in store without noted speed runners engaged. IIKUNI ASHER (7) bounced back last start and got the job done by 1.5 lengths as public elect over 1600m at Kasamatsu. Meets some better types this time but another big run is on the cards. SAIMON MORNING (2) ran a better race and finished 1.2 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1400m at this track. Jumps from a good draw so he is a leading contender. GAINER (8) continued the good recent form when he finished second last time out over 1500m at this track. Settles back early but winds up late. Winning claims on best figures. DON TAKAMI (3) did her best work late and finished third last time over 1400m at this track when resuming from a spell. Ready to go a couple better.
