BOLO MISS (3) has found the line strongly to be beaten under a length in her two starts to date, most recently going under by just a head over this distance at Orange. Meets a pretty thin field this time and looks all set to break through. BEST DEFENCE (7) has been in the money twice from his last five runs across two preps, the only two occasions he has been able to lead. Draws wide but a smart beginner is just inside so he should cross. Can play a big role. LOOKACROSSTHEWATER (10) led for home and tried hard but was denied late in the piece over this trip at Wagga last start. Likely leader who has only raced twice so there is plenty of improvement to come. THE FIRE INSIDE (12) can improve second-up with the blinkers applied for the first time. Market watch on the first starter MONTY ROAD (4) whose recent trial at Hawkesbury was impressive. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Bolo Miss.
