Cracking tempo with Eiraku and Fiorino leading the way. DEVIL SHIZUKACHAN (1) turned in a fine effort to win by 1.3 lengths at this track and distance when first-up from a break last time out. Meets some better types this time but she has the ability to test this field. ZEALOUS EFFORTS (7) has put together a couple of wins at this circuit, the latest on June 12 over 820m when she got home by 2.5 lengths. Nicely placed to add to the outstanding run of form. HASTE (4) produced a good run two starts back to finish second but disappointed last time when out of the placings at this track over the same trip after he was in the firing line on the turn. Likely improver with strong prospects. EIRAKU (5) was in contention on the turn and finished third last time over 820m at this track, beaten 2.75 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. In the right race and is a top-three hope.
