Not seeing a great deal of early speed. MORGENSONNE (3) has been safely held at his last couple of runs, the latest when ninth over 2000m at Chukyo. Better placed in this easier assignment and should regain form. WE KNOW THE WAY (2) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 40 lengths when sixth over 1400m at this track six weeks ago. Nicely placed to get the prize. SUNADOKEI (1) has switched yards since finishing sixth seven-and-a-half weeks ago over 2400m at Hakodate Dirt. Has ability and makes plenty of appeal. LA LA CELINE (4) is returning from a spell of nine weeks. Finished 15th at Nakayama over 1600m at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Kinya Sugawara.
