Good early pressure anticipated with a large contingent of first starters. The three-year-old maidens kick us off. ELRONTE (6) just ran into one better when facing the starter for the first time and will have derived a stack of benefit from that day at the races. Looks to have some ability and is sure to be right there when the whips are cracking. SONIC FLYER (10) is on debut but draws low and gets the services of Bayliss in the stirrups. Must be included in a race decimated by scratchings. NASIRON (12) strips fitter second-up from the spell and expect to see plenty of improvement. Top-three candidate. CODE BUSTER (13) next in line but just needs some luck from the outside draw. SUGGESTED PLAY: Elronte to shed the maiden tag.
