Darwin Carnival Tickets on Sale Now TROBIS Plate 1200m

Track: Wet Fast   Rain (Max: 29)   Rail: True.

King Waldo should find the front with Tugela Falls and Bollon on his heels. MERCHANT DELIGHT (7) has shown plenty of ability in both of his runs to date and was only beaten by a short-head here 5 weeks ago. He has the blinkers on for the first time and is set to go one better this time. BRUNO BRUNO (2) is an ex-NSW gelding who made an immediate impact from his new stable when scoring here fresh up nearly a fortnight ago over 1000m. He is perfectly placed again and only has to cope with a 3.5kg weight rise to win again. BOLLON (1) finished fourth in his first local start after making the move from Victoria in January. His trainer normally gets quick results with similar types, and this gelding will pick up his next win at short notice. KING WALDO (3) is heading the right way with his form and will be peaking third up from a spell. He has the pole position and should be right in the finish again. Each way. TUGELA FALLS (5) will be peaking third up and can bounce back into the top 3 placings. SUGGESTED PLAY: Merchant Delight to win.
