Houdini Spirit should lead at a keen tempo. MALINGA MISSILE (5) wasn't the best away but recovered to finish third on debut over this distance at Bathurst last start. Should derive great benefit from that experience and with the help of the ace draw can break through today. The speedy HOUDINI SPIRIT (11) has been in the money at two of his last three runs, leading for home on each occasion over 1200m at Queanbeyan only to be run down late. Freshened up and coming back to 1100m can only enhance his prospects. REBEL FLYER (9) disappointed in an inferior maiden over 1400m at Warren recently. Worth another chance coming back in distance. BYRON'S FARM (1) resumes. Placed two from two when fresh and his best efforts measure up favourably. FORTIANS (10) isn't racing well but can improve with blinkers going on for the first time. SUGGESTED PLAY: This looks a nice race for Malinga Missile.
