Catavar, Ms Galore and Doin' Time to battle for the lead at a strong tempo. MS GALORE (8) was disappointing in her last start after an encouraging debut effort over this distance at Scottsville. The daughter of Bezrin has scope and if not too green around the turn, she should be involved at the finish. DOIN' TIME (9) ran a good race when second over 1400m here on the poly track last time. He set the pace that day before getting caught late and finishing second. It must be noted that the horse that finished third has come out and won since. Hard to beat. DANUBE (10) returns from a 14-week break during which time he changed stables and was gelded. He gets the cheekpieces fitted for the first time. With a bit of luck in running, he can feature in this type of field. CATAVAR (5)is better than his last start here over this trip. He gets a change of headgear for this outing, and from a handy draw, he won't be far away.
