GOD BLESS VENEZUELA MAIDEN PLATE 1600m
Expecting Van Hoven to lead Gosh Almighty at just a moderate tempo. LEGASELLI (10) finished fifth when resuming two runs back then did a good job last start but found one better over 1400m at this track, beaten only a head after being in contention on the bend. Looks well placed so expect another big run. VAN HOVEN (4) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing a close fourth over 1400m at Goulburn. Likely improver who should go well. NAMBI GHIMA (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she settled well back over this trip at Newcastle, beaten a length into sixth. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. TOUCHING HANS (3) finished ninth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1625m at Wyong. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. VIVA VIVA (6) has hit the line nicely in both runs back and will appreciate stepping out to this trip. Chance to break through. SUGGESTED PLAY: Legaselli to win. |

CEDAR CUTTERS 4YO&UP MAIDEN HANDICAP 1400m
Genuine tempo with the speedy My Star leading the way. UNLEASH HARRY (3) was well supported when resuming last start but missed the placings in fourth over 1100m at Gosford. Fitter now and will take some beating with that run under his belt out to this trip. COLD MIST (8) was in contention all the way and fought on for second last start over 1310m at Moruya, making it three minor placings in a row. Gets in light with Cole's claim and should be hitting his straps now. MAYLEIGH (6) showed good signs in her debut prep and has been fitted with two solid trials in readiness. Drawn nicely and can give this a big shake. ZOUSARI (4) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when second over 1350m at Beaumont (Newcastle). Holds genuine claims. CAP D'AIL (1) is fitter for two runs back from a spell, progressing nicely last time to finish second at this track over 1200m. Should be at his peak now. SUGGESTED PLAY: Unleash Harry to win. |

DYNELEC AUSTRALIA PROVINCIAL CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1400m
Strong tempo with Green Winter and Winter Storm leading the way over Duck For Cover. PERCHANCE (7) is high on confidence after scoring at Moruya last time out. Will appreciate the drop in the weights. Stick with her. ANTHROPOID (1) produced a good effort when third last start over this trip at Warwick Farm, beaten 1.1 lengths after he made late ground. That followed a win at Wyong the start prior. Ideally placed and can make amends. DUCK FOR COVER (2) was good when resuming here but was a touch less effective last start when sent out favourite. Rise in trip suits third-up and he can give a bold sight. GREEN WINTER (5) launched his career with a win then couldn't follow that up last time out when fifth over 1600m at Newcastle. Worth plenty of thought back to this level. BROADWAY STREET (3) just missed the bob when resuming, then got too far back here last time but was finishing strong. Fitter and gets the blinkers applied. Can give this a shake. SUGGESTED PLAY: Perchance to win. |

HANSEN & COLE F&M BENCHMARK 64 HANDICAP 1200m
Temptation should spear straight to the front of the small field. TEMPTATION (8) broke through for her maiden win over 1100m at Gosford last time, scoring comfortably. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. YOU'RE THE CHOICE (4) has been thereabouts recently, the latest result a fifth beaten 1.75 lengths at Canterbury over 1250m. Will appreciate a drop in grade. Among the leading chances in this company. UNCERTAIN GLORY (3) returned from a break with a solid fourth, winding up late at the end of 1100m at Warwick Farm after settling well back. Will appreciate the extra 100m and can burst through late. HEY JUDE (5) is back at the races for the first time since March 21. Scored over 1200m at Nowra at the start of last prep. Looks a strong top-three prospect. TIGLETTA (6) returns and will be hoping to pick back up from where she left off last campaign. Two lead-up trials should have her forward enough to be very competitive. SUGGESTED PLAY: Temptation to win. |

WHK COMMERCIAL CG&E BENCHMARK 64 HANDICAP 1200m
They look to roll along early with Bold And Blazen and Gooloo Bucky leading the charge. DRUMFIRE (4) resumes for the sharp Waterhouse & Bott stable. Won on debut to launch the last campaign over 1000m at Muswellbrook before going on to tackle smart 2YO company. Fitter for a recent trial win at Rosehill. Will be tough to beat. MONTE MAXIMUS (7) drifted well back last start before winding up strongly to just miss when second over this trip at Goulburn. A repeat of the latest effort will see him in the finish again. GOOLOO BUCKY (1) settled well back then came home powerfully to score by a nose over this distance at Wagga last time out. Tougher now but deserves respect. SKY DECK (9) accounted for a maiden field in style here last start when fresh from a break. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Harder task ahead this time but can measure up. BOLD AND BLAZEN (5) resumes and boasts peaks that can measure up but may need the run with just the one trial under his belt. SUGGESTED PLAY: Drumfire to win. |

TINY TINS TRASH DASH MAIDEN PLATE 1000m
Expecting Eviction Notice to bounce to the front and lead from the low draw. FOVEA (12) is a Farnan filly from the stakes-winning mare Jennifer Eccles. Looks forward enough following a trial win with Winona Costin aboard. Expected to go well. EVICTION NOTICE (9) was prominent at the turn and progressed nicely last start to finish a close third over 1100m at Gosford after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Has his share of ability but is becoming frustrating for his supporters. PONZI SCHEME (10) returns. Was good on debut without winning when tackling the Wellington Boot. Has been fitted with a trial and is drawn favourably. Can make a bright return. KAVEH (4) Prince Fawaz gelding from La Pintana who is on debut. Has only trialled once and scored. Watch for any market confidence. SUGGESTED PLAY: Fovea to make a bright start. |

MCGRATH REAL ESTATE SUPER MAIDEN HANDICAP 1200m
Solid tempo set by Rising Queen and Zynaro. PULSATOR (9) is a first starter by Snitzel from Heart Of Thrills who has been a fine producer including winners at black type level. Was in the placings in his most recent trial at Randwick. A product of the strong juvenile stable of Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott. Promising type who is sure to be highly competitive. ZYNARO (5) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing third when resuming last time out over this trip at Wyong. Will take advantage of the good draw and this looks well within his grasp. DARN YOU (12) went well on debut three-and-a-half weeks ago when fifth over 1100m at Warwick Farm. Better for the race experience and look for an improved run. ELECTRIC BLISS (13) filly by Prague from Electric Charge on debut. Ran third at a recent trial. Watch for any market confidence. SUGGESTED PLAY: Pulsator to win. |

ROTARY CLUB OF WEST WOLLONGONG BENCHMARK 64 HANDICAP 1600m
Expecting Oneforian to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. ALL GUCCI (5) again gave away a considerable start over 1500m at Newcastle last time before hitting the line well to finish fourth. Winning chance who will be winding up strongly. CABBUCIO (9) also wound up strongly last time out to finish a close second over 1400m at this track when resuming after a break. Fitter and is sure to measure up with that run under her belt. CANNY QUEEN (1) progressed nicely last time out to score by a nose over 1400m at this track. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role again. SMART CRY (14) found one better last time out over 1600m at Gosford, beaten just a nose. Worth including again. SUGGESTED PLAY: All Gucci gets the nod. |
