Small field in which Revolution Rising can find the front comfortably at a moderate tempo. REVOLUTION RISING (2) is long overdue. Has placed four of his last five runs, the latest when he raced on the speed from the outset and finished second, beaten half a length, over 1100m here behind Lean On Me. Has the inside and looks hard to run down. SNICK (5) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then made late ground after getting well back when fifth in the same race behind Lean On Me. Has her share of talent. Hard to hold out late. Another to come through that race was JACKSET (6) who finished fourth. Will strip much fitter and expected to be in the finish. FRANKFURT (3) will find this easier and can improve sharply. ONLY THE BEST (4) next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Stick with Revolution Rising. |

Not a great deal of pressure likely in the small field, with Stella Bystarlight a potential leader. Small field but good race. STELLA BYSTARLIGHT (3) was a winner five back then has placed all four since. Wound up strongly last time but the start prior led. Super honest record course and distance and deserves another win. GRINZINGER LASS (2) is another racing well, including a last-start placing. Has pace and is sure to run well off the low draw. RIVER FROST (1) finished just ahead of Stella Bystarlight last time. Winner over the same horse the start prior. In-form and will prove hard to beat. LEAN ON ME (5) beat a few from the opening race last time. Confidence back and worth thought again. IKNOWHATYOUREDOING (4) is better than last run and can feature. SUGGESTED PLAY: Stella Bystarlight can turn the tables. |

Only a small field with Luskin Hero likely to find a comfortable lead. Plenty of win chances. DANIHER (6) won two on end before drifting back to last and storming home here to just miss last time. Freshened since. Looks hard to hold out. LUSKIN HERO (2) was a winner here two back then safely held in open class latest. Back in grade and off the low draw will take catching. BAHAMA BAY (1) raced on speed and scored here last time over 1400m. Back in trip but going well and will be tough to stop. BRAT (4) is flying, having won three of his last four runs. Tackling tougher company but hard to knock and with a big weight drop will be in this up front for a long way. BOY BIG (3) lines up for the first time since April 25. Closed the last campaign in lukewarm fashion. Can contest for a place fresh. SUGGESTED PLAY: Daniher hard to hold out. |

Despite the small field Bonny Impact, Golden Tunes and Miss Top Gun can set a strong tempo. GOLDEN TUNES (1) is unbeaten in two runs for the new yard and looks the one to beat. Led throughout to win both starts here, the latest by 14 lengths in a canter as a hot favourite. Given a let-up and back in trip. Hard to fault and is the one to run down again. TELLEZ (2) was well off best away from home last time but went close here the start prior. Back in trip and class and will take catching. MISS TOP GUN (3) is a former Victorian. First run this area and looks a big chance on best figures. BONNY IMPACT (5) has a string of recent placings and deserves one. SUGGESTED PLAY: Stay with Golden Tunes. |

Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Highstrung. Looks a good race for LAWS WARS (1) who resumes off a short spell. Goes well course and distance and this longer trip suits fresh. Last time in Alice was tackling the Guineas. Expected to go close fresh. HIGHSTRUNG (2) was in good form before leading and folding up last time in a run well off best. Has less weight this time and looks a big chance to bounce straight back. MUMMSIE (5) is coming off two runs at Kununurra, placing the latest. Has the ability and can feature in the finish. HIGH AMBITIONS (3) is yet to fire in two runs for the new yard since coming from Victoria. Did run a much better race last time though and is worth keeping safe. BRAZEN SAILOR (4) has placed five of the last six and should be in the finish again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Laws Wars has the class. |
