JUST BEAT (4) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 6 lengths when fifth over 1800m at Hakodate two weeks ago. Likely improver with strong prospects. CENDOL (8) missed the placings on debut then improved last start but found a couple better over 1800m at Hakodate, beaten 4 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. RASHID (2) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then was beaten 10 lengths when sixth in a 1800m contest at Hakodate two weeks ago after being prominent at the corner. Nicely placed to get the prize. |

STELLA NOVA (10) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when 6 lengths away in third over 1000m at Kokura Dirt when he was handy all the way. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. IN YOUR EYES (1) is a four-start maiden who could only manage to finish ninth after being prominent at the bend at her latest appearance over 1200m at Kokura. Well placed on this occasion and gets her chance to break the ice. FULGURITE (3) was doing his best work late last start to get up for third over 1000m at Hakodate Dirt. One of the main contenders. MAKANI (11) closed last prep six-and-a-half months ago when she finished 14th over 1200m at Nakayama Dirt. Should run very well. |

Will play a major role. TRIPLETE (11) failed to figure again last time over 1600m at Hanshin, beaten 4 lengths into seventh. Backmarker who gets home hard. Will prove tough to beat. MAMBO RUMBA (10) is back from a break of four months. Raced below par at his only appearance last prep when fifth over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt. Has a high cruising speed. Sure to be competitive. MEINER EARTH (3) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 6 lengths away in sixth over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt. Has his share of talent and is a top-three prospect. |

MILLE FLEURS (6) last appeared when she finished tenth over 1200m at Nakayama Dirt on April 20. Comes here with definite top-three claims. Opened last prep with a minor placing over 1600m at Kyoto. Leading contender. WATER CLARK (4) pushed forward and went on to record a determined win last start by a neck over 1800m at Hakodate. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. LILA BONITO (13) finished eighth when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1800m at Hakodate, beaten only 1.5 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Likely improver with strong prospects. JET MAGNUM (9) has not appeared since he finished eighth over 1600m in the G2 New Zealand Trophy (NHK Mile Cup Trial) at Nakayama on April 12.
