He was squeezed leaving the starting stalls and finished off his race strongly. He is coming along the right way and should go close. FIFTY WAYS (6) was in need of his debut effort over 1200m on the Inside course. He would have come on from the run and can improve to finish in the placings. |

KENSAL GREEN (6) took time to find her feet on debut over 1200m on the Inside course but the manner in which she finished off her race was encouraging. She would have gained from the experience and should love the rise to 1400m. With the natural improvement that is expected, she may find herself in the winner's enclosure. ZAHRA DOMINIA (8) showed improvement when second over this course and distance last time. She is a progressive type and may have more to come. HEAVENLY GOOD (5) ran a fair race on debut over 1160m on this course. She would have come on from the outing and she should enjoy the extra distance on offer. Gavin Lerena retains the ride which is encouraging. LADY BLUNT (1) is having her first run for the Brett Webber stable. She is still lightly raced and there should be good improvement to come. |

TEXAS RED (1) won a good race over this course and distance last time. Despite jumping outwards at the start, he found himself in front and won easier than the official margin suggests. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. Callan Murray is booked to ride, and he can follow up with another victory. TRUTH (3) is better than his last start run would suggest as he was reported to be not striding out. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since. He is ideally suited to this course and distance and is one of the leading contenders. FIRE 'N FLAMES (4) was running on well when third over 1600m last time. Muzi Yeni is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him when it matters most. BACCHUS (6) improved sharply last time out to score over 1600m at this track. Solid top-three prospects. |

MO MENT (2) is better than his last start run would suggest He won a good race over 2600m on the Inside course in his penultimate outing. He is likely to find himself in front turning for home and can notch up his fifth-career victory. ENFLAME (3) has run two decent races since winning his maiden. He is a horse with scope and should give a good account of himself. TO THE RESCUE (1) changes rider since being well held last time out over 3000m in the G3 Gold Vase at Greyville. Forgive that latest effort and consider. ROMEO'S MAGIC (4) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 2400m at Vaal. Gavin Lerena gets the best out of this seven-year-old gelding and is a top-three prospect. |

KING'S EXPRESS (3) should have finished closer to the winner last time as he was steadied late. He has won three times, finished second once and third once from six starts over this distance. He will strip much fitter and on previous form, he should be the horse to beat. HOTARUBI (2) is better than his last start run suggests as he was reported to be not striding out. He drops back in class and on best form shown, he is one of the leading contenders. THE EQUATOR (1) was disappointing in his first run in South Africa. He would have come on from the outing and should strip much fitter. Gavin Lerena is booked to ride and the betting market will be the best guide with regards to his chances. WECANGOALLNIGHT(4) is better than his last start run over 1600m on this course suggests. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since. If finding the form of his penultimate run he can upset. |

The booking of Gavin Lerena is a big plus and he should be competitive. PRINCESS ILARIA (2) found extra where it matters most when winning her last start over 1400m on this course. She is in a good space and should give the males a decent run for their money. IMPACT INVESTOR (9) progressed nicely last start to finish second over 1600m at this track after missing the placings at the previous start. Has each-way claims. |

If not in need of the run, he should be involved at the finish. QUANTUM THEORY (6) has finished second in his last four starts. It is encouraging that Marco van Rensburg steps back into the saddle and the combination cannot be ignored. MARIACHI MADNESS (7) stayed on well when third over this course and distance last time. Well worth considering. |
