Tricky one to map with a number of debutants but over this trip there is good speed anticipated. LAST STYLEBENDER (2) showed ability when last in work including a placing when last resuming and has placed 2/3 fresh. Fitter for two hit-outs and expected to go close. HOFF IS ENUFF (12) is overdue having placed 5/8 in career and both runs while fresh. Fitter for two hit-outs, winning the latest. Can get off the mark this time. BOLD SUITOR (8) settled just off pace on debut, loomed up and hit the front but was grabbed late and held third. Better for it and shouldn't be a maiden long. EXPRESS BARBIE (4) is a filly by Alabama Express out of Pink Perfection making debut. Trialling well and Melham aboard. Watch the market closely. SUGGESTED PLAY: Last Stylebender looks primed. |

Solid tempo with Flavius to lead but under plenty of pressure in a keen early contest. EXPULSION (12) is overdue and looks well placed in this. Gave a sight in tougher company latest when found one better. Looks hard to beat on recent form. HIGHSTRUNG (11) was solid fresh then raced on speed and just edged out last time. Ready to win and will be in this for a long way. CALIFORNIA FLYER (5) is fitter for two runs in and both have been in richer company and both tracks at Sandown. Returns to home track and can improve sharply. FLASH ALICE (6) was prominent at the turn and finished third last start over 1230m at Geelong. Has a tricky gate to overcome but is close to a maiden success. FLAVIUS (16) wasn't well away on debut but quickly mustered speed and gave a sight before being swamped late. Trained here and looks a likely improver. SUGGESTED PLAY: Stick with Expulsion. |

Just a modest tempo anticipated. EMPEROR TZU (13) wasn't far away two back then stepped up in trip and motored home last time when no match for Our Chief. Close to a win and gets his chance. WONDERING SPIRIT (7) showed ability last campaign placing 2/4 runs and returns on the back of two hit-outs. Looks primed for a strong return. JUST DANCE (5) improved out of sight over 1400m when fresh and looks even better off here. Has good upside and drawn for a soft run. Can feature at odds. LARRYOCTANE (6) made late ground from the back to finish midfield fresh over the mile at Moe. Will want further in time but fitter again and should be doing best work late again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Emperor Tzu is close to a win. |

Good early pressure anticipated with a large number of unraced runners. LOVECATS (7) did everything wrong on debut then was put away again. Fitter for three hit-outs since, winning the last two. Worth another chance. SUPERLIV (10) was outclassed in the Blue Diamond Preview then put away again. Returned with a placing and fitter again. Worth following up. ZOU DOLL (12) was solid on debut, boxing on well for fourth. Can only be improved and shouldn't be a maiden long. KIWI HARMONY (6) is a filly by Ardrossan on debut. Coming along well in jump-outs and looks primed to run well. CATALONA (2) is another first starter and is by Capitalist. Recent jump-out winner and well-educated. Should give a sight. SUGGESTED PLAY: Give Lovecats another try. |

Never A Thought is expected to lead at a strong tempo. Very even. ADELANTE (6) is building to a win, the latest a fast finishing third here in a BM64. Goes close with a repeat. ANDIAMO ROSSO (2) placed fresh-up off a long back and is sure to be much fitter for it. Has an honest overall record and looks a leading player. MURMULLO (9) was thereabouts fresh then scored a dominant maiden success last time. Has upside and can measure up again. RED LINE FEVER (10) was totally out of character fresh, showing none of the usual good early dash. Has since trialled, has a change of rider and has won second-up. Very wary and can atone. NIC'S CHOICE (3) is resuming in much easier. Trained here and draws low. Has definite claims fresh. SUGGESTED PLAY: Follow in on Adelante. |

Genuine tempo with Flying Ace leading the way. ALWAYS HAPI (4) has a super consistent record over this journey with four wins and six minors from 12 tries. Well placed here with the claim and low draw and expected to feature again. GWAN SO (3) has been freshened since a solid midfield finish in tougher company. Doesn't win out of turn but back a notch and with the claim gets his chance. ANGEL OF THE SEA (11) resumed in easier and was well off best. Fitter and can improve sharply. FRIDGE MONSTER (13) is rarely far away, the last two beaten only a couple of lengths in similar grade. Aided by the claim and in the mix again. MASTERFUL (1) finished midfield last start at this track on a soft track when first up. Is up in journey today, rates among the chances. SUGGESTED PLAY: Stay with Always Hapi. |

Pace strong with Diamanda and Vegas On Fire leading with Eye For An Eye nearby. Few of the better chances are scratched. EVERYTHING COUNTS (1) is a consistent type resuming but looks well placed. Close to the winner last run before a break over the border and has placed only try here at home which was at this trip. Spain returns to the saddle and was a winner only ride. Fitter for two jump-outs and should be winding up strongly. EYE FOR AN EYE (5) is the hardest to beat. Hasn't been far away finishing fourth over 2200m at Bairnsdale latest. Consistent and hard to beat in this line-up. VEGAS ON FIRE (13) gets chance with all the scratchings. Thereabouts recently and while going up a grade jere on last start is very attractively weighted with the claim and big weight drop. Has the pace to lead and in this thinner field now will give a sight. DIAMANDA (14) is in the same boat. Veteran mare with a good record at the course but will carry no weight after the claim. Goes forward and should be in this for a long way at odds. SUGGESTED PLAY: Following the local Everything Counts. |

Genuine pace with Not Enough Effort finding the front but it won't be a picnic with a few other speedy types engaged. Wide open dash. MARTIAL MUSIC (1) ran a much improved race second-up in tougher company. Back a grade here and fitter again. Has the claim, the inside gate, early speed and should be in this for a long way. BRIER (3) raced on the speed and dug deep to score by half a length at this track and trip when first-up from a layoff last time out. Suitably placed for another big run. PLAYLIST (12) was off best before a break but did win only other try fresh. Starts again here and can run a bold race here at home. DAELLA (6) is a lightly raced mare with just six starts to her name but two wins and four minors. Won only try at the course and distance. Resuming from a break without public trials but from the low draw and having placed 2/2 fresh is not to be underestimated. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Martial Music. |
