KEMPGLAZE GLASS AND ALUMINIUM MAIDEN 1200m
Moderate tempo with Impending Feature leading the way. MYSTERY MINUTE (3) was racing well prior to his latest effort where he disappointed over this course and distance. The winkers replace the blinkers today, and he does have some early speed. Can bounce back to his prior form. CASINO ROYALE (2) was ticking along nicely before stepping up to the mile last start and never really looking likely. Webster's claim comes in handy and the drop back to 1200m looks a good move. Can put her best foot forward. FROM THE ROOFTOP (5) was good first-up over 1000m when a 30-1 chance at this track. He is likely to be prominent from the favourable gate and with improvement likely, he can go close. THE MAN HIMSELF (1) steps up in trip following a sound first-up effort and is not to be discounted. IMPENDING FEATURE (6) can improve third-up and out in distance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mystery Minute can win the opener. |

FARMER JACKS SUPERMARKET HANDICAP 1400m
Genuine tempo from Cash Flow leading Choice Bid. EIN STEIN (1) hasn't won for a while, though he is knocking on the door following a 0.3L defeat here last time out. Faithfull replaces the apprentice hoop and she's won aboard the gelding previously. Should land in a handy position and if he can run up to his recent effort, he'll be hard to hold out. CASH FLOW (2) can sit on the speed from a good barrier and the drop in trip looks a smart play after failing to see out the mile at Northam last week. He'll likely find this easier than recent efforts and a return to his best form would see him hard to hold out. WAR TACTICS (6) bounced back to form last time out with a 1.1L defeat when sitting closer in the run. He draws a better gate again this time and should get a similar run in transit. Expecting him to be right in the finish. LATHAMS WISH (8) resumes for the new barn today and will appreciate this grade. CHOICE BID (3) is next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Ein Stein goes on top. |

OPAL PACKAGING HANDICAP 1400m
Plenty of pace from the outset with Moorumbine and Simple Logic leading the charge. WHO'S YOUR MAMA (3) was a dominant winner two back before a 1.1L defeat over the mile last start in easier company. Back up in grade today, but she drops to the 1400m today where she's won twice over this track and trip. Nicely placed and she can go one better. LACEVINSKY (2) is ticking along nicely, getting the job done by 0.3L over this track and trip 12 days ago. This is tougher, but he drops in weight and he can land on the speed from a good gate. He'll take plenty of catching. GENERAL KNOWLEDGE (6) is better than he's shown his past couple and steps up to this trip now. Murray's 4kg claim comes in handy and will see him right down in the weights. Can put his best foot forward. STAY WEALTHY (1) is right back in trip on the quick turnaround and is not to be discounted. SIMPLE LOGIC (4) rates highly on his recent efforts and is in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Who's Your Mama looks the one to beat. |

RAY WHITE CARNARVON HANDICAP 1600m
Kunapipi has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. DREAM ILLUSION (1) has been improving with every run recently and only jut missed when out to 1400m last start at this track. He'll need a touch of luck from the gate, but the rise to the mile doesn't look an issue and the 3kg claim helps. Looks the one to beat. KUNAPIPI (4) got the job done two back before a 3.4L defeat at this track last start 21 days ago. Now out to the mile for the third time, but she maps to get her chance with Galati hopping in the saddle. Can make her presence felt. LONG WAIT (8) is hard to knock on recent form and was a touch disappointing as the race favourite last start at this track. Her prior form stacks up well and a return to that level would see her in the finish. SWEET EYES (5) was too good here last start to break her maiden and there's no reason why she can't go on with the job. JIDDO (2) wasn't beaten far first-up and can improve with that run under his belt. SUGGESTED PLAY: Dream Illusion gets the nod. |

AL'S LIQUOR STORE HANDICAP 1700m
Pace only fair with Mexican Queen rolling to the lead ahead of Traded Crown and Awesome Lily. AWESOME LILY (9) was too good over 1400m last start when just getting there late in the race. Out to 1700m now, though she has performed well at the mile previously. May need a touch of luck from the gate, but she carries no weight and looks well placed to repeat the dose. FELLAFROMDOWNUNDER (2) made it back-to-back wins last start with a 0.2L victory at Port Hedland last time out. He'll be able to sit close to the speed again from the good barrier and the rise in trip isn't an issue. Can go on with the job. SHABALALA (3) is hard to knock on recent form, bumping into a good winner here last start over the mile. This looks to shape similarly and he's likely to be in the finish once again from a good gate. TRADED CROWN (5) showed good improvement second-up and steps out in trip now. His third-up record is solid and he won't be far away. DIVINE JUDGEMENT (6) is in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Awesome Lily can get the job done again. |

SEA HARVEST FISHING CO. HANDICAP 1200m
Strong tempo expected with Mrs Kangaroo, Pio Kerri and Talking Heads prominent. WISE WORDS (3) proved too good over 1000m at this track 12 days ago, getting the job done by 0.9L. Webster remains in the saddle and the rise in trip doesn't look an issue on her form from earlier this campaign. Can repeat the dose without surprising. GOLD SPY (4) resumed with an impressive come-from-behind win here over 1000m, storming home to score comfortably. He's placed in both second-up attempts previously and Faithfull replaces the apprentice hoop. Ticks plenty of boxes and can go back-to-back. CHEEKY CHARLOTTE (2) hasn't been far away recently at this track and trip and drops into easier company today. She's well weighted after the 4kg claim and she's sure to be closing off strongly late in the race. MRS KANGAROO (5) is better than we've seen her past couple and can return to form. TALKING HEADS (1) won't be far away. SUGGESTED PLAY: Wise Words can win the last. |
