Goes well course and distance. Should go close. NIHONPIRO DEVIN (11) didn't do a bad job after being prominent at the turn to finish 0.7 lengths away in fourth last start over 1800m at this track. That followed a first-up win at this track. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the key runners. JO TARUMAE (6) turned in a sound effort last time but found a couple better at this track over 1900m, beaten 1.1 lengths. Ready to win. ARIES KING (8) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt, beaten 2 lengths. Strips fitter and can turn things around.
