DUNSTALL THE GUN (7) on the quick back-up when he raced closer from the good gate to finish third over 1520m at Inverell. Ready to peak today and expected to go close despite drawing out. SMART BUY (4) comes out of a strong contest second-up after running on late to finish seventh over 1300m at Scone. Proven at the trip and will appreciate the rain affected conditions. ARAPAWA (5) deep into the campaign and he gives the impression this trip will suit. Savaged the line with an unlucky second over 1250m at Gunnedah. Saves his best for this course and can overcome the draw. PARFUMIER (9) looks to get a soft lead again after ploughing through the heavy going and scoring in a tight finish over 1412m at Taree. Sure to be thereabouts. MAGGIE SPARKLES (13) will find this more to her liking and has good wet track credentials. SUGGESTED PLAY: Dunstall The Gun looks set to peak.
