Solid pace with Kakushin finding the front but it won't be a picnic with a few other speedy types engaged. OKOJU (10) hasn't featured at her last two runs, the latest when 8 lengths away in 13th at Fukushima Dirt. Forgive the last couple in tougher company. Hard to beat this time. SANONO SALVADOR (8) started at $4.20 last time and ran below expectations, finishing sixth and beaten 5.5 lengths at this track over 1500m. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. TOA KAFU (3) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just two times from 23 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 1500m at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths. Placed to advantage so expect a big run. SERAPHINITE (2) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 4 lengths into seventh. The engagement of Taiga Kurihara is a positive move. Better than recent efforts suggest.
