Plenty of speed runners engaged, with Oneuldo Smile, Nice Buddy and Gold Catcher prominent. RAON FOREST (13) opened this prep with a Stakes win two runs ago. Fair effort last time out when third over 1400m at Seoul, beaten 1.75 lengths. Yet to miss the frame in three starts over this course and distance. Expected to go close. BORYEONGLIGHTQUEEN (12) was only half a length away last time when second over 1400m at Seoul. Won't be bothered by this longer journey. Sure to be about the money. FANTASTIC VALUE (10) was sent out at $72.20 last time but ran above expectations and won over 1400m at Seoul. This is her optimum trip with two wins from four starts and shapes as one to consider. GLADIUS (11) is third up today. Turned in a better run last time when fourth, beaten 4.5 lengths, at Seoul over 1400m. Has a win and three minor placings at this journey from six starts and must be respected.
