KARUSTONE BRAND (6) last appeared three-and-a-half weeks ago over 1200m at Funabashi when she finished eighth. This is her first run for the Hirofumi Watanabe stable. Worth plenty of thought. PURE COLLECTION (1) is a 21-start maiden who has been in the money at her last couple of runs, the latest when second over 1300m at this track. Should camp just off the leaders. One of the better hopes.
