YABUSAME (1) resumed over 1400m in the G2 Keio Hai Spring Cup at Tokyo last start where he drifted back early and although 10th made good late ground. Has a very strong second up record. Expected to go close. TAGANO ELPIDA (5) resumes. Wasn't far away at the only run last time in work, finishing fourth over 1600m at this track four-and-a-half months ago. Well placed here and goes well fresh. Expected to play a major role. ASAKARA KING (11) raced on the pace to the bend before fading to finish 18th, beaten 10 lengths, over this journey in the G2 Keio Hai Spring Cup at Tokyo. Easier assignment this time. Should be involved in the finish. YOSHINO EASTER (12) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a spell on March 29, finishing 12th and beaten 7 lengths over 1200m in the G1 Takamatsunomiya Kinen at Chukyo. Tackled the top level before a spell. This much easier and can return in winning form.
