Gran Maestro should have enough pace to lead a low-pressure contest. GRAN MAESTRO (5) is yet to break through after six career starts. Could only manage to finish fourth last time out over 1400m at Tokyo following a minor placing at Tokyo when fresh from a spell the run prior. Has placed four of six runs and expected to go close. TWILIGHT VIEW (6) is yet to break through in five runs. Finished fourth at his last appearance over 1600m at this track on May 3. Well placed on this occasion and gets his chance to break the ice. MIRABILLION (13) turned in a fair effort at Chukyo Dirt over 1200m at his last run nine weeks ago, finishing fourth and beaten 1.75 lengths. Looks a strong top-three prospect. KIRI MITSU (4) returned from a spell three weeks ago when he was prominent at the turn before being beaten 5.5 lengths into fifth over 1600m at this track. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat.
