A solid tempo expected with Dubonnet Rouge pressing from an outside draw, joined in the lead by Unshackled. EXCLUDE (2) made a promising start to his career when finishing a close third on debut over 1200m at this track. Some natural improvement from that debut effort should see him right in the finish again, and he goes on top for us. BYTHESEA (8) also caught the eye when making her debut at Ascot Park, chasing gamely for second over 1200m 3 weeks ago. She is open to plenty of improvement with that race experience now under her belt, and with some luck from her wide draw, she can go one better. DUBONNET ROUGE (7) has been around the mark in recent runs, and she gets the blinkers applied for the first time. Her stable has a good record when trekking their team to this track, and she can bounce straight back into the money here. SURPRISE INSIDE (13) was never fully in the contest after settling well back last time out at Ascot Park on a track that was just too testing for her. She will be even fitter third up, and she can figure in the top 4. LETHAL ROC (9) is an each-way hope at value. SUGGESTED PLAY: Exclude can win this.
