Genuine tempo with Picara and Meisho Ibuki up front. PICARA (8) sat on the pace and ran right away to score by 4 lengths at today's track and trip when resuming from a layoff last time out. Progressive type worth following up. APPAREIL (9) returns after a spell of 12 weeks. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1400m at this track. Placed 2/3 fresh and only try course and distance. Rates highly and is likely to be prominent. TINY WONDER (3) was well held in the Hochi Hai Fillies Revue (1000 Guineas Trial) won by Ghillies' Ball over 1400m at Hanshin at her last appearance 12 weeks ago. That was only defeat so far and resumes in much easier grade. Big chance in this class. FIABLE (12) returned from a spell two weeks ago when she was beaten 10 lengths into sixth over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt. Strips fitter and can play a big role.
