Moderate tempo headed by Guitar Gangster. LYREBIRD LADY (11) stepped up to 1400m here last time and found the line strongly to finish a close-up third. Blinkers added and extra trip a plus. Looks hard to hold out. CIRCUS LIGHTS (8) drew the inside on debut and got back to last before really winding up strongly late. The extra trip a plus and should be in the finish again. APPLE EYES (7) also got home late to finish fifth in the same race as Lyrebird Lady. Will be winding up strongly this trip. LANCETTA (10) was a solid fifth on debut a year ago and not seen since. Fitter for two trials and should run well here fresh. CORAL JET (2) is rock hard fit now and is a decent chance to break through. SUGGESTED PLAY: Lyrebird Lady gets chance.
