Good pace from Torvecchio, Lift'n'mehigher and Stromboli Delight going forward. TORVECCHIO (3) finished third two runs back at Beaudesert then improved last time out to score by 0.6 lengths over 1200m at Roma. Taking on a better line-up this time but she is up to the challenge. LIFT'N'MEHIGHER (6) built on a nice third two starts back at Gayndah with a win over 1400m at Dalby a week-and-a-half ago, getting home by a nose. Reece O'connell scored on her last time and retains the mount. Best figures measure up and is sure to run well again. STROMBOLI DELIGHT (4) was in the money two starts back at Toowoomba but couldn't back it up last time when ninth there over 1300m. Finds a nice race and can atone. ASTERN VILLA (11) has been just behind the placegetters of late and looks a must for the exotics players. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 3,6,4,11.
