Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Power Move. POWER MOVE (9) didn't do a bad job when second last start over 1300m at Mizusawa, beaten 1.5 lengths. That followed a win at Mizusawa the start prior. Looks well placed so expect a strong showing. KITANO COUVER (1) had been racing well with two consecutive placings before last start managing only seventh over 1400m at Mizusawa. Can improve sharply from the ace draw. TSUWAMONO (4) improved sharply on his eighth two starts back at Mizusawa with a win over 1400m at Mizusawa two weeks ago, getting home by a neck after being prominent at the turn. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. COSMO ESMERALDA (7) has been solid in two runs since placing in her lone run at this track. No surprise to see her in contention.
