Strong tempo, primarily from Grand Crusader and Li'l Rex. FORTYSECONDSTREET (12) saluted at Gold Coast two runs ago. Fair effort last time out when third over 1000m at Sunshine Coast, beaten 1.1 lengths. Gets in well at the weights with the claim and has the class to take care of this field. VORKUTA (9) gets out over more ground today on the back of some solid form of late, the most recent effort a fourth over 1000m at Gold Coast. Won't find this as tough and will be hard to stop. SPEED MAP (6) turned in a fine effort to win by 1.4 lengths at today's course and distance last start in a nice progression on the first-up run. Well placed and there is no reason why he cannot repeat the dose. MR WANDJI (5) was unwanted in betting last time but scored by half a length over 1000m at Dalby. Samantha Pointon who has two wins when partnering stays on. Deserves respect. SUGGESTED PLAY: With Fortysecondstreet.
