EXPENSIVE ICON (2) wasn't that far away on debut when anchored with the 59kg for a game third in the heavy conditions over 1000m at this track. Trained locally and can put these away over the 1250m. FASHION SPREE (10) slow into stride and chipped away late with a battling sixth over 1400m at this track. Senior rider hops on and the blinkers come off. Can race a touch closer and play a leading role. NULKABA STAR (6) sharp improver in stronger company with a fighting second over 1200m at Gosford in a Super Maiden. Finds an easier assignment and can overcome the awkward draw. ANTONUCCI (8) returned from a lengthy break with an even fourth over 1210m at Port Macquarie. Has further upside and not to be underestimated. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 2,10,6.
