Should be on-pace despite the tricky draw. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. J K BOMBER (12) has not appeared since he got the cash over 1800m at Monbetsu on August 21. Lines up today for the first time for trainer Masahiro Fukuda. Rates highly and should take some beating. THREE LEGEND (8) finished fourth, beaten 2.25 lengths, last time out over 1800m at this track. Has a very good record here including four wins from eight starts. One of the leading contenders. SURUGA DAINAGON (5) is a 18-start maiden who wasn't far away last time when third over 1800m at this track on June 11. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Deserves respect on best figures.
