A Shin Regards and Sayonakidori should set a strong tempo. A SHIN REGARDS (11) has been in great form recently, the latest effort a dominant win by 7 lengths over 1230m at Sonoda. Winning rider Tomohiro Yoshimura retains the mount. Taking on a better field but he is capable of running another bold race. SAYONAKIDORI (6) scored at his most recent appearance, getting home by 0.8 lengths over 1200m at Monbetsu as favourite. That continued the good form this campaign, with two wins and two minor placings from five runs. Big chance again. J L BITT (4) finished fifth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1400m at Mizusawa, beaten 2.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. Steps up a level but he is worth serious consideration. TOKYO ANNA (2) lines up for the first time since March 18. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1200m at Funabashi. Definite top-three chance.
