Love Me Monroe, Nagisano Runa and Baby Quest to battle for the lead at a strong tempo. ZELOS (9) improved last start to finish third over 1400m at Sonoda. Finds a suitable assignment and can take the next step and salute. BLUMENGARTEN (5) was well fancied when resuming last start and proved too strong, scoring by 2 lengths over 1200m at Funabashi. Won at his only second-up appearance and can go on with it. LOVE ME MONROE (13) showed good pace over 1200m at this track last time and went on to score by 1.3 lengths. Should cross from wide out. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is capable of a big performance. ATTREVE FACE (12) is back after a break of three-and-a-half months. Looking to emulate his win at Funabashi when returning from a spell last prep. Looks a strong top-three prospect.
