Drawn well close to the inside and she is a leading contender. B B ERIS (9) made it back-to-back wins when successful last start here, getting home by 2 lengths. It doesn't get any easier but on current form he is capable of testing his rivals. YAGIRI IBIS (6) built on a nice second when fresh from a spell two starts back at Funabashi with a win over 1500m at Urawa three weeks ago, getting home by a neck. Akira Harita scored on him last time and retains the ride. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is good enough to play a major role. BASQUE REGION (8) raced on the pace over 1400m at this track on debut last start and went on to win by a neck. Do not underestimate.
