Off the low draw Turnip Viper has enough speed to lead the way in the absence of a recognised leader. TURNIP VIPER (2) resumes. Was racing well immediately prior to the break registering two minor placings in a row, the latest over this course and distance. Drawn to enjoy a nice trail just off the pace. Leading contender. MRS LILY (3) did a great job to score by one length over this course and distance when first-up from a spell last time out. Likely to be there at the finish again. NEO SHANGRILA (12) settled well back from a wide draw last time then wound up strongly to finish fifth at Nagoya. Solid top-three prospects. LUCETTA (1) drifted back and never threatened when seventh last start over 1400m at this track. Open to improvement and should be about the mark.
