Genuine tempo from Kowamote Hammer leading T O Robinson. I SAMAIN (4) won at this track and distance at her last outing nine weeks ago. Capable of playing a major role. T O ROBINSON (8) turned in a fine effort to win by 0.8 lengths at this course and distance last start in an improved run. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is worth serious consideration. MEISHO MASAKARI (2) improved sharply with success over 1400m at this track three-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by half a length. Meets some better types this time but another big run will not surprise. KOWAMOTE HAMMER (10) was in the money two starts back but was unable to repeat the effort last time when seventh at this track over 1400m. Finds a nice race and can bounce back.
