Lots of speed predominantly from Our Lady Rockstar, William and Seeking To Win. WE SHALL OVERCOME (6) broke through for her maiden win over 1100m at Cowra, beating a small field by 6L. She was backed off the map and keeps the in-form Boudvillain. Draws wide but with average luck she can take the next step. SESTO (3) resumes and two backed spaced the Maidens here from the speed. Draws wide but has plenty of gate speed, and Heywood stays aboard. Can come back further improved and make the finish. WEGOTABETTERHOFFA (1) resumes owning sharp trial hitouts from the Sapphire Coast and Canberra. Jumps from the inside gate, and Owen is a positive jockey engagement. She's shown enough to deserve serious consideration. VAINSTREAM (2) is a veteran who always puts in. Was beaten less than 2L here in Open grade 20 days ago and has claims despite the hefty weight. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to We Shall Overcome.
