From wide out Rising Fame can slide over and set up a genuine tempo. MISTY'S MIRROR (13) was expected to need the outing here on debut but did a solid job, beaten less than 3L after settling back. She's in the top metro barn and gets the key jockey switch to Pike. That suggests she's pleasing and we're likely to see quick improvement over the longer sprint. RISING FAME (10) has been nudged out at Belmont at her last two starts. The latest was in a CL1, and three winners have come out of that. The speedy mare should make short work of the awkward barrier and deserves another chance. WHISKERS HARBOUR (4) is also busting to break through. He's been kept on the fresh side and maps for the run of the race. MAGIC CARATS (6) keeps improving and raced favourite here last time. Strips fitter again and is in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Misty's Mirror if the betting suggests stable confidence.
