Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Star Grip. STAR GRIP (10) is a speedy colt who was a winner first up at this track. Should be poised just off the lead. Will prove tough to beat. SWITCH ON (8) was given time to settle from an outside draw last time then wound up strongly in the straight for an eye-catching third over 1500m at this track. Well placed to feature again. ART OF LIFE (7) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fourth at this track over 1400m. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she deserves another chance. NOTTE STRATA (4) lines up on the back of finishing fourth over 1500m at this track. Well placed and likely to feature.
