GOING: S(5)

MAGIC MILLIONS COUNTRY CUP QUALIFIER OPEN Handicap 1200m

Track: Soft 5   Clouds (Max: 32)   Rail: +7.5 metres Entire Course.. (Pent: 5.90)

Pace a scorcher, headed by Imagine That, Master Montaro and Track Tale, closely followed by Bungarribee Lad and Frosty Bear. CHERRY ROSE (2) was well fancied when resuming last start and proved too strong, scoring by a length here. Second-up record is strong and is all set to make it two-for-two this prep. TRACK TALE (3) was leading on the turn and fought on to finish second as a well-fancied favourite here last time. Has excellent credentials here and is drawn to advantage on the inside. Sure to be in this for a very long way. MEDIA EMPIRE (5) has been poised to pounce in his two runs back from a short break. Is another distance specialist who should be hitting his straps now. Satherley reunites and knows him well. ASTRA STAR (8) returns and has found the frame in all three first-up attempts. Gets in low at the weights and has been readied with a trial. Can play a major role. SUGGESTED PLAY: Cherry Rose to win.
