Has a solid second-up record and should be fitter with a run under the belt. Key runner. SMART VENUS (8) showed good early muster and fought on to finish second when resuming last start over 1400m at this track. Should be close to the speed despite the draw and expect another big run. DIVIN CADEAU (5) is a 16-start maiden who is knocking on the door, the last run a commendable second at this track over 1400m. Big chance to shed the maiden tag. MARENKA (3) improved last start but found a couple better over 1400m at this track. Plenty to like about her chances.
