SADDLE (7) ran a better race last start to finish a close second over this track and trip after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Likely improver with strong prospects. MONDO (4) turned in a fine effort to score at this course and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Goes up a rung or two but he is up to the task. POTENZA (1) was sound last start when fifth here. Holds claims in this suitable race. RAVE ON (5) last appeared five weeks ago over 1200m at Monbetsu when he finished seventh. This is his first run for the Hiroyuki Takahashi stable.
