Strong tempo assured from Grunge and Entrapment leading the charge. GLORIA (6) brings a solid set of figures here at her third race start and should have little trouble running the mile. Jumped in trip at her second race start when a tough on-pace second over 1350m at Beaumont (Newcastle). Maps to get the right run again and expected to go close. VELIA (3) second run for the new stable when taken to the front for a tenacious second over this track and trip. Near her top for this and shapes as the main danger. FLYING GREY (5) failed to shirk her task at start two when stalking the pace for a respectable fifth over 1600m at this track. Has further improvement to come and can take a hand in the finish. ENTRAPMENT (8) has come back in good order at her second campaign with the minor placings on the provincial circuit. Expecting the blinkers to switch her on. SUGGESTED PLAY: Gloria can gain the upper hand.
