Plenty of pace likely from Copano David, Hakusan Kraken and Water Riche battling for the lead from Ripplet. COPANO DAVID (10) improved sharply with a win as favourite over 1700m at this track two weeks ago, getting home by 3 lengths. Meeting a tougher field but can measure up with the right run. GOD IMPULSE (1) was in the money two starts back but was unable to repeat the effort last time when 12th at this track over 1500m. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. AO LELE (5) turned things around last start and scored by one length over 1500m at this track. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he can go back-to-back. A SHIN PANTA RHEI (7) hit the frame two starts ago here but ran below par last time when eighth over 1500m at this track. Open to improvement and should be about the mark.
