From his good draw of three, he may find himself in the winner's enclosure. HEART STEALER (8) returns from a spell. Consistent performer who has won fresh-up previously. Fresh-up should prove hard to roll. PAINITE (9) was running on when fifth over 1900m on the polytrack last time. He has won once, finished second once and third once from five starts over this course and distance. Having his third run this prep and in a fitter state has to be respected. BRENDEN JAMES (3) turned in a fair effort when eighth of 12 last time out over 1400m at this track, after a win at this track at the previous outing. Jumps from the inside draw and can finish in the money.
