O'caldino should be able to comfortably find the front. WEONA REDWOOD (1) surrendered an early lead before boxing on fairly for fourth last start over 1980m at Ipswich. Has never raced beyond 2200m but is looking very dour so it should suit. Will race handy and give a great sight. O'CALDINO (4) added to his collection of minor placings when he led for the judge but found one better over 2000m at Gatton last time out. New to this trip but he just keeps whacking away. KALKANLI (2) was handy on the bend but lacked a kick and finished midfield over 2200m at Ipswich recently. Looks well and truly ready for this step up in journey. KENSHIN MARU (6) has struggled of late but might be worth another chance over the extra distance. PAPAL MISS (8) gets a couple of gear changes six days after a dismal effort at the Gold Coast. Has won at this trip so a better run is not out of the question. SUGGESTED PLAY: Weona Redwood on top in an unappealing race.
