NAKI PLUMBING AND GAS 1600m Track: HEAVY 10 Out 7m |

Teams should have enough pace to lead a low-pressure contest. TEAMS (5) has been thereabouts in all 4 career starts, and he has no problem with a heavy track. A good draw and a kilo claim puts him firmly in contention here. On top for us. JUST JOCK (4) just battled last time out at Te Rapa when stepping up to 1600m for the first time. He cops a decent gate here, and he is worth including in all top 4 combos. WING AND A PRAYER (3) has made solid progress in each of his 2 runs to date. He maps to receive the run of the race from the pole position, and he can go close to taking this out. BRIDIE (9) whacked away when finishing third here at only her second career start nearly 3 weeks ago. She tries 1600m for the first time, and with a clever 4kg claim, she will be right in the finish this time. OUR EDWARDO (6) was not far away at Otaki on debut there nearly 4 weeks ago. He will continue to improve, and on his home track, he is a top 4 chance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bridie each-way.
