Reasonable tempo with Malaika probably leading but a few others should keep her honest. MALAIKA (4) is a promising type who returns from a spell of ten weeks and remains unbeaten in two runs. Last appeared when she score by 3 lengths over 1400m at this track. Effortless win last start and sure to be in the finish again. HARUSAME (5) improved last start but found a couple better over 1400m at this track. Looks well placed so expect another big run. YAMANIN LA VERA (10) did a great job to score by 3.5 lengths over today's course and distance last start in a far better run. Facing a tougher assignment but she is good enough to cope. GUTI (8) was in the money two starts back but was unable to repeat the effort last time when eighth at this track over 1400m. Expect a better run this time.
